Hello, I am Dr. Biswas. I have spent most of my life exploring and understanding biology, the science of life.
- I am providing leadership to the entire R&D team of the current company, which includes the R&D (Mycology and Microbiology) Division, R&D (Entomology) Division, and R&D (Chemistry) Division, developing Environmentally Sound Technologies (ESTs), improving and developing products including Biopesticides, Organics, Microbial Inoculants, Pheromones, and Pesticide baits.
- I examine DNA and RNA directly from the environment (as well as patients), that is metagenomics. I explore the interactions between DNA, RNA, proteins, and their biosynthesis, as well as the regulation of these interactions, that is molecular biology. I study biochemistry, physiology, cell biology, ecology, evolution and industrial as well as clinical aspects of microscopic organisms like archaea, bacteria, viruses, and fungi, that is microbiology. I love working at the bench. I enjoy wrangling with data. I like writing, discussing, and debating new ideas.
- I am passionate about developing ecologically acceptable products and solutions for pest management (biocontrol) and environmental restoration (bioremediation). I am enthusiastic about deciphering cutting-edge bioscience research for its application in product development. I have an enthusiasm for promoting awareness for safe, appropriate, and ethical use of cutting-edge research; and bringing back actionable insights for all stakeholders. I have a natural aptitude to clearly and concisely communicating complex scientific content to broad audiences. I am also efficient in nurturing a long-term relationship in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
